Welcome and thank you for visiting our website

Jacksonville Miracle League

We are a League that provides opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to play baseball, regardless of their abilities. We cannot change or cure the medical issues life has dealt them. What we can do is provide them with an opportunity to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing baseball. We believe every child deserves a chance to play baseball.

Our 2009 Spring season is finally here. On Saturday, our Opening Day Ceremony and abbreviated games took place.  Our Honorable Jacksonville Mayor, John Peyton, issued a Proclamation declaring it Jacksonville Miracle League Day.  There were kids of all ages, some old players and a lot of new.  There were even some real cheerleaders too.  But least we forget to mention our "Angels in the Outfield".  The Brunswick Traveling Girls Softball Team who were our Buddies for the day, helping us all in making our plays.  There were fans young and old.  The excitement was electric.  As evidenced in our players faces and they rounded each of the bases.  An experience you wont regret, in witnessing some obstacles being met.  We welcome volunteers, Buddies and cheering fans; after all, couldn't we all use a helping hand.  So dust off your glove, bring a tissue, maybe two, we guarantee at least one smile and a rewarding experience for you.

We would also like extend our appreciation to everyone who has helped make each season a success.  We are parents, volunteers and people with hearts, that want to make a difference in the lives of all who enter the Park.  We accept Player Registrations all year at the Park, on our website or in the mail.  However, if the registration is received after the Seasons Registration Deadline, the Player will reserve a spot for the next season of play.  This seasons deadline was last Saturday, March 28th.  If you missed it, we encourage you to still come out and cheer us on at a game.  And continue to check our web-site for updates, fundraising opportunities and even a picture or two.  We look forward to what the future holds.  We are the Jacksonville Miracle League.
