Our 2008 Spring Season
has come to an end. We all had a blast from the first game to the
last.
We are preparing for the Fall 2008 Season, opening
October 4th. As we prepare for Opening Day, we need volunteers who can
participate in all areas of the league to make the league’s 3rd season
successful..
Thank you to everyone who helped make this spring season successful. Player
registrations will be accepted all year long either at the park, online
registrations or
mailed to us. Games are all on Saturday mornings. If you haven't been out to the park yet
to see these athletes play, you are missing something special.

End of the year PARTY! We are having our party at Oak Crest
church. There will be pizza, drinks and other snack food for
everyone. All players, buddies, family, friends and members of the

6/14/2008 Don Adams, host of the popular AM1530 radio show Physical Issues has asked us to join him in the studio and on the airwaves. We will be in studio with Don talking about all things Miracle League. Tune your radios to AM1530 and don't be afraid to call in.

5/5/2008 Special board of directors meeting with WDYA to address partnership.
5/3/2008 Our fundraising Ends. We will be collecting candle sales at the game. For our efforts, 50% of the sales is donated back to the league.

Today was our last game of the season. The fans were cheering like crazy
and the loved it. The field was half blue and half red.
Sounds of the Indian's "hey batter batter" turned to the familiar "woo
woo woo woo chant". The Reds weren't intimidated and belted plenty
of good hits. Not to be out done the Indians responded with a
hitting barrage of their own. Numerous players provided excellent
fielding to keep the score close. Stolen bases by Melissa, Ronnie,
Corbin, and Vincent gave the pitchers the added pressure to keep one eye
on the catcher for signs and one on the runners.
