Question: What is the Registration Fee?
Answer: $50 per person per Season
Question: What is included in the registration fee?
Answer: Each player receives a uniform jersey and hat.
Parents must provide the pants. Every player receives a trophy at the end
of the season.
Question: Will there be a concession stand?
Answer: yes, there will be a concession stand open with food and
drinks

What is the Buddy
program?
Answer: Buddies are children (ages twelve and up) and adults who
enjoy baseball or softball or just like to have fun in a spirit of
giving. The buddies protect players from injuries
provide good spirit with enthusiasm, love, good attitude and concern in
motivating the players.
Question:
Can I receive credit for service hours in the Buddy
program?
Answer: Yes, students of all ages can receive credit and if
necessary, a written recommendation towards their service hour
requirements for school or other group upon completion of a full season.
Whether you need it for a high school, grammar school, or college
internship, the Miracle League will sign-off as long as you participate
in the program.
Question: Who qualifies to play?
Answer: children and adults with any degree of disability may register to
play
Question: Who can be a Coach?
Answer: Any adult can volunteer to be a coach after completing a
background check

Can a child/adult sign up that can't afford the registration
fee?
Answer: yes, we have a player Scholarship program and Financial
aide that will allow
a certain number of children and adults to play without paying.
Question: How many teams are there?
Answer: currently we are still taking registrations so the number
of teams depend on the number of registrations. we will have a maximum
of 10 players per team
Question: When does the season start?
Answer: Spring season is from 3rd weekend of March until last
weekend of May. Fall season is from 3rd weekend of September until the
end of November. Registrations are accepted at any time during or
after the season.
Question: When are the games?
Answer: games are scheduled on Saturdays between beginning at 10am
Questions: How long are the games?
Answer: each game is 1hr 30 min. minimum of 3 innings per team.
each player gets to bat every inning. each player gets to circle the
bases to score a run each inning. every player scores and is never
called “Out”.
Question: What Equipment is used?
Answer: each player will need their own glove. each player will
wear a helmet and swing a bat when batting if possible. each player will
have the chance to hit from a pitched ball or bat from a “Tee”. We use a
9”, 12" and 16" soft-core safety balls with a synthetic cover. We also have special
balls for the blind.
Question: What type of field will they play on?
Answer: the field was specifically designed for wheelchairs,
walkers and crutches in mind. The entire field is a synthetic rubber turf with
coloring for grass, clay, bases and chalk lines.
Question: What
if my child cannot make it to every game?
Answer: We understand that players may miss games for a number of
reasons. Please enjoy the games you can make. We ask that
you call your coach to let him or her know as soon as you know.

if my child cannot physically play the entire game or inning?
Answer: We encourage players to participate in every inning.
Priority one is player safety so if your child needs a rest or is too
hot, take a break. Take as much time as you need. Players
are free to take as many breaks as they wish.
