Starting off our Spring 2009 season were two teams that have played many times before.  Coach John, with his pitching arm in a brace, pitched left handed to each batter.  Austin and Joey had nice hits while Corbin and Kyle showed off their speed around the bases.  Coach Norris was back in action this season after spending the entire fall on injured reserve.   Zachary, James and Patrick made some good defensive plays.  Teon and Arthur both hit the ball well and got on base.  The Stingrays, lead by coach Carole, came all the way from Brunswick just to be Buddies with our players.  Now that's truely giving!  The University Christian cheerleaders gave our players extra energy with lots of cheers and awesome tumbling routines.  Today we had an abbreviated game due to the ceremony.  Our next game will be a full game.  There were too many good plays to name them all.  We would like to thank all of our volunteers for your support.  Photos from this game can be viewed in the photo gallery.
