The chatter started before the last game ended.  The Marlins and Yankees were ready and waiting for their chance to shine.  That time came as Chris shuffled to home plate, banged his bat and said "throw the ball old man".  Coach Bobby, not one to keep his players waiting, pitched the ball to start the game.  Coach Mike missed today's game but his team played on and did him proud.  The Stingrays, lead by coach Carole, came all the way from Brunswick just to be Buddies with our players.  Now that's truely giving!  The University Christian cheerleaders gave our players extra energy with lots of cheers and awesome tumbling routines.  Today we had an abbreviated game due to the ceremony.  Our next game will be a full game.  There were too many good plays to name them all.  We would like to thank all of our volunteers for your support.  Photos from this game can be viewed in the photo gallery.
