They started gathering around an hour early.  The Braves and A's couldn't wait to take the field.  Amie played second base, Amanda shortstop and Tenisha 3rd base.  Amanda grips the bat with two hands but lets go with one while swinging.  She hit the ball past the pitcher to center field.  Amie walked up to the left hand batters box, took a good look at who was playing where in the infield then smacked a well placed ball through the fielders to the fence.  She made it to second base before the ball could be retrieved.  Tenisha did great with a little help from her coach.  She hit a ball to 3rd base and made it safe at first base.  Ryan hit some good shots that made it to the outfield.  He also had a stolen base or two while his coach wasn't looking.  Rudy must love to run because he ran almost everywhere.  He ran full speed around the bases and ran two every ball being hit.  He had a sweat going so bad he needed two towels.  Sandra hit the ball and made it to first, then without warning went to the dugout for a break.  Her teammates cheered her back onto the field.  There were too many good plays to name them all.  We would like to thank all of our volunteers for your support.  Photos from this game can be viewed in the photo gallery.
